A Day of Joy
Last week David invited me out to Joy’s post birthday dinner, and they wanted to get sushi. I didn’t know of any good places out in Alhambra area, but thankfully Hiro recommended Hamakawa in Little Tokyo because it was just awesome. The fish was so fresh it looked unreal. We ate like kings and a queen and everything was D-lish. A Short rundown of what we ate were Hamachi sashimi which was excellent, amaebi sushi with the fried heads served afterwards, some roast duck, unagi, anago, black cod, and plenty of other sushi pieces. I’m already craving some more.
It might have tasted so good, because we were sooooo hungry. Joy and I went
hicking hiking up at the Temescal Gateway Park where it took us about an hour to get up to the top. The view was amazing , and whenever i get the picture from Joy or my Holga, i’ll post up the view of downtown, to PV to Malibu. The actual hike was quite difficult since I was out of shape, huffing and puffings all the way up. I’ve got some more training to do before August.
